Lovable pricing guide
Understand Lovable pricing before you decide what to move
The useful comparison is not one subscription price against one hosting bill. Separate the cost of building, deployed infrastructure, migration work and ongoing operations before deciding whether to stay, split the stack or move.
- Separate builder credits from deployed Cloud and AI usage
- Compare total operating cost, not just the headline plan
- Price the move once and the destination continuously
Lovable subscriptions and Cloud usage are different cost layers
Lovable's own documentation describes Cloud hosting and built-in AI as usage-based services. Those deployed-service costs are separate from workspace credits used while building. Plan names, included amounts and temporary offers can change, so confirm the current figures on Lovable's official pricing and Cloud pages before making a financial decision.
For an existing product, model at least four lines: builder subscription, hosting and runtime usage, backend services, and the time required to operate or migrate the app. A cheaper monthly line can be a poor trade if it creates more manual work; a more expensive managed service can be rational when it removes meaningful operational risk.
What StackFerry charges
A standard StackFerry port costs €490 excluding VAT as a one-time fee. It covers one supported source repository, one target environment, a customer-owned destination account, an empty or schema-only backend, build verification, a smoke test and a seven-day handoff window.
A qualifying port can cost €0 when a destination with an active StackFerry commercial program funds a verified new workload. The technical compatibility ranking remains independent. Backend recreation, production-data transfer, rescue work and hardening are separately scoped.
A decision framework that avoids false savings
Calculate a twelve-month total for the current stack and each credible destination. Include expected traffic, database size, storage, function execution, bandwidth, team time, support requirements and the one-time transition cost. Then score reversibility: code ownership, export paths, region choice, data portability and the ability to change provider again.
Frequently asked questions
Does Lovable pricing include all hosting costs?
Do not assume so. Lovable documents Cloud hosting and built-in AI as usage-based services, separate from workspace credits. Check the current official terms for your plan and usage.
How much does it cost to move a Lovable app?
StackFerry's standard port is €490 excluding VAT. More complex backend recreation or authorized production-data migration is quoted separately.
Can the port be free?
Yes, but only when a destination has an active StackFerry commercial program and the new workload passes eligibility verification before work starts.
Does the cheapest provider always win?
No. Compatibility, operational effort, data risk and future portability can matter more than the smallest headline price.
